Womens REP BOX

  • “Rep” is short for “Representative”, as in the teams that represent the club in competitions with other clubs. Orangeville offers Rep programs in Box Lacrosse, Field Lacrosse, and Women’s Field Lacrosse. Players must be residentially bound to the club to play Rep.

In age divisions where there are enough players interested in Rep, a second Rep team is also established. Rep teams are rated annually from “A” to “E” and participate in league play and provincials under the Ontario Lacrosse Association.

Rep Box is introduced at U7 while Rep Field and Women’s Field are introduced at U9.

  • This age chart is for Women’s Box Rep registration, and only for the 2025 season:

    U13 - 2014/2013

    U15 - 2012/20111

    U17 - 2010/2009

    U22 - 2008/2007/2006/2005 & 2004

  • Ontario Lacrosse has residential boundary regulations that require players to play Rep in the next closest center to their home address. Players don’t have to live in Orangeville but they must be residentially bound to the club to play Rep. To check your next closest center, complete the Where Do I Play? form on the Ontario Lacrosse website.

U13 - U17 Northmen

Rep teams practice once a week starting the second week of April. Games are scheduled at home and away against other clubs in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) and we do our best to work around Women's Field Lacrosse. Rep teams compete in two to three tournaments during the season as well as the provincial championships held in August at the Ontario Lacrosse Festival in Whitby, Ontario.

  • The registration fee is what the club collects from each rep player to cover operational costs. The total listed here is the total payable to the club. Rep teams will have other costs to cover including tournaments and team activities. Those fees are set at each team’s discretion with oversight from the club.

The player, the parent or the guardian must complete all fields in Section 1 of the form and send it to the President of the association from which the release is requested.
